Snip Snip Snip

During Ruben's morning nap, June and I practiced using scissors to snip, snip, snip strips of paper.  What fun! June has always displayed signs of being left-handed or at least ambidextrous.  This morning I would have to classify her as extremely left handed.  When holding the scissors in her right hand, she could still open and close the scissors - but her left hand had to mimic the movement.  That made holding the strip of paper extremely difficult.  She would get everything lined up and then open her scissors with her right hand and her left hand would open automatically as well, dropping the strip of paper.  Thankfully, she didn't get too frustrated because she could hold the paper with her right and snip with her left. Papa may have to move in with us permanently when she gets older so he can teach her how to do everything left-handed, because goodness knows this mom is severely uncoordinated with her left side.
