What happened to my baby girl. Just a month and a half ago she was wearing diapers full time, being pushed in a stroller all over the place, and talking in a really whiny voice 98% of the day. This morning proved to me that my baby is growing up. While I was putting Ruben down for his morning nap, June dug through the laundry basket. Last month she would have scattered the laundry around the house and made a big mess for us to clean up later. But this morning, she picked out a beautiful outfit and put it on all by herself. Actually, she went through several outfits before she found just the right one. the rejects were placed in the diaper bag. Now when we need an outfit when we're out and about, we'll have 3 pairs of panties to choose from, one pair of pants, and two tank tops. When she finished getting dressed, she looked at me and said, "big girl." I'm so proud and at the same time so sad to see my baby girl growing up so quickly.
