A conversation with June driving home from the store this evening.
J: Take mine shoes off?
M: Sure. (Might as well, all her shoes are in the car right now)
J: Yook, mine feet wed!
M: Your feet are wet?
J: No, mine feet are wed.
M: Your feet are red?
J: Yes. Mine shoes off.
M: Oh, were your feet hot in your shoes.
J: No, worm
M: Worm? Really? What does that mean?
J: Oh (giggling) Bee!
M: Oh, did your shoes give you an owie?
J: Yes. Bee.
This is how June explains that her shoes are giving her a blister. I think she's been hanging out with Hallie too much this summer. Hallie is notorious for getting bee stings and last week had one on her ankle so now June believes that owies on feet are obviously bee stings. I'm not exactly sure why worms came into the conversation...
