June has been full of cute one-liners lately. Most of the time, my brain acts like a sieve and the cute-ness gets away. However, tonight there was an awfully cute one that I managed to retain. Karl made some yummy smoothies for snack tonight. They were extra thick because we were trying some whey protein in them which resulted in the kids getting adorable mustaches. June was the first to point out, "Ruben, Beard." We corrected her and told her that he had a mustache not a beard, but were fairly impressed that she knew the vocab for beard since very few of the people we see on a daily basis have facial hair at all. Then June popped out the cute-ness. She stands up, looks us in the eyes, nods very seriously with an enormous mustache of her own, and says, "I get him a towel." She didn't even realize she had her own mustache until she saw Karl's iphone pictures a few minutes later.Monday, August 22, 2011
